It's a very special concert, featuring the extraordinary music of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, combined with the artwork of talented artists from the area.

University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Campus
Concert features The Johnstown Symphony Orchestra and original artwork by Johnstown's Allied Artists.

The Johnstown Symphony Orchestra website describes this concert as "a sensory experience of the auditory delight of the music of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra and the visual delight of Johnstown's Allied Artists."

The program includes the music of Beethoven, Mussorgsky and Liszt.

On toay's show, Maestro Istvan Jaray joins Dawn along with JSO Young Artist Competition winner and pianist Anthony Cornet and Orchestra Manager Patricia Hofscher to talk about the upcoming concert and the fantastic artwork that will be featured. They also show a signature piece, used to promote the event.
