Hastings Couple Married on TV

Hastings couple Ginny and Wendall Routch were married on television more than 60 years ago. Today, we look back at their TV wedding!

Last Fall, Dawn visited their home to talk about the big day. The story aired the day before our Ultimate Wedding Winning Couple Ashley and Ryan tied the knot on Central PA Live.

The couple was chosen for their television nuptuals by a show called "Bride and Groom" on CBS. They submitted a photo and a love story and not long after, they got word that they were picked!  They would marry in the show's studio in New York City.

Watch this story to hear about their television wedding and the excitement of everyone at home, as they watched it on t.v.
