What is the best way to deal with the challenges and complexities of the college admissions process? What strategies help college-bound teens select and be selected by the schools which best match each applicant's talents, interests, finances, and abilities?
Join independent college admissions counselor Dr. Heather Ricker-Gilbert for an interactive seminar focused on the ins and outs of the admissions process, how to make a compelling case for acceptance, and how to pay for college.
Using her experience in teaching and advising students at Penn State, UConn, and other universities, Dr. Ricker-Gilbert works with families throughout the entire college search and application process.
Along with her other valuable tips, Dr. Ricker-Gilbert will guide you to the best college admissions resources and books available at Schlow Centre Region Library.
It's happening at 7:00pm on Thursday, April 12, at Schlow Centre Region Library. The workshop will be held in the Musser Room on the 2nd floor of the Library.
The program is free and open to the public; no registration is necessary.
