Updated: Sunday evening, March 10th
Reported by: Meteorologist Steve Newton

High pressure continued to bring warm temperatures to the region today, with some communities reaching 60; Pittsburgh made it to 70 today! There are some passing clouds that will fill the sky more during the overnight hours as temperatures fall into the upper 30s and around 40. Clouds will break for sun Monday and there will be a breeze in the afternoon as temperatures rise into the low and mid 50s, but the chance of rain will increase later in the day and into the evening as a front approaches.

Rain will last through Monday night into Tuesday, and while it will be heavy at times, most of the rain will be past us to the east by Tuesday afternoon. Cooler air will move in behind the front and a cooler, unsettled pattern will be in place for the middle of the week. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 40s for Tuesday, but cooler than that for Wednesday and Thursday with a chance of flurries both days.
