Bedford County is celebrating its rich history this weekend with the annual Bedford County day event! On today's show, Gillian Leach, Executive Director of the Bedford County Historical Society and Glenden Casteel, the President of the Bedford County Historical Society Board of Directors join Dawn to promote the event.
In 2007, they had a flag contest for Bedford County and it blossomed into Bedford County Day in 2008. The event was meant to drum up interest in Bedford County history.
