The clouds broke briefly for sunshine today and there are some flurries or snow showers moving through, mainly in the southern portion of our viewing area. Cooler air has moved in as well, with temperatures dropping below freezing west of I-99. Cooler air will continue to move in this evening as temperatures fall into the upper teens and low to mid-20s.
Clouds will vary for Saturday with flurries or snow showers and a brisk northwesterly wind. Temperatures may not get above freezing in a few locations, but some spots could get into the mid 30s.
There could be a break in the clouds Sunday and the sun will make more of an appearance Monday and the first half of Tuesday before the next disturbance brushes past us to the south. Right now there is a chance of a wintry mix south of U.S. 22 Tuesday afternoon and evening.
