Friday will be brisk and chilly with clouds and only a few peeks of sunshine. Once again, there will be flurries and snow showers around, more numerous during the afternoon and evening hours. The core of this upper level low will drift off to the east Saturday and Sunday and it will pull even chillier air into the region behind it. Temperatures will struggle to reach above 30 in some locations over the weekend, especially on Sunday. We'll still have a brisk wind. We'll have scattered flurries and snow showers Saturday and then just some leftover flurries on Sunday. Monday and Tuesday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with a little milder air trying to move in. A storm system will develop to our south and east on Wednesday but could be close enough to give us some snow showers. The big news about this storm is that this seems like it could be a pattern breaker with a change to a warmer pattern toward the next weekend.
