PA Health Plan to Stop Accepting Applicants

Pennsylvania residents with pre-existing medical conditions only have until the March 2, to apply for a special government-backed health plan.

That's because the federal government is suspending applications for the program due to a lack of funding. The State Insurance Department says at this time, the 6800 residents in the Pa Fair Care program will continue to be covered as long as they pay their
