BLAIR TOWNSHIP, BLAIR COUNTY - The man who allegedly held police at bay in a nine hour standoff is out of prison just a day after he arrested.

State troopers say Mark Wendt showed up at his estranged wife's home around 1:30 Sunday morning and got in a fight with her and his brother-in-law. He's accused of firing a weapon at the house while they were still inside. Police arrested him after a nine hour standoff in his home on Helen Street in Blair Township.

Wendt posted bail Monday afternoon.
