Atari Files for Bankruptcy

The company that brought you Pong, Centipede and Asteroid filed for bankruptcy on Monday 21st January.

But Atari is expected to live on.

The move is aimed at breaking the American branch away from its unprofitable French parent company.  

 Atari US want to lure in more investors for digital and mobile games.  Atari was founded in 1972.
