STONYCREEK TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY - Sunday was a really nice day for January, it was so warm some people decided to hit the water for some kayaking.

We've had some extra precipitation and the warm weather melted the snow so the creeks and rivers water levels are up. And the water was rushing pretty strong.

A group of people went kayaking on Paint Creek and Stonycreek River. The Stonycreek was named river of the year in 2012.

The Fish and Boat Commission has a list of water trails in the state.
