We get a bit of a break today as weak high pressure will influence the weather today. Clouds may break at times across the region, with the clouds sticking around in the Laurel Highlands. Temperatures will be similar, if not a couple degrees warmer than yesterday: upper 20s and low 30s.
Snow returns late tonight/early tomorrow as another disturbance pushes in. WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES are in place for our entire viewing area for Saturday morning through the evening. Snow accumulations will be lighter than what came through earlier this week, but many communities in our viewing area will see 2-4" of new snow. Ridges and other favorable spots could see 4-6" snow. This system will push through fairly quickly with some leftover snow Sunday, particularly in the Laurel Highlands.
Another break arrives for Sunday/Monday before another disturbance moves in Monday afternoon/evening. There is a chance of snow as people ring in the New Year, and 2013 looks like it will start with a break from the snow.
