JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Johnstown Detectives, Dale Borough Police and U.S. Marshals are searching for a man accused of sexually abusing a young girl.
George Irvin of Windber is charged with allegedly raping and assaulting a girl beginning when she was just eight years old. Johnstown Police Detective Julie Wagner said the abuse continued until she was 15.
"We need to find him," said Wagner. "We believe he is still in the area."
The victim now 19, recently came to police, she said the assaults took place at a home in the City and Dale Borough.
