MOUNT UNION, HUNTINGDON COUNTY - One local group braved the chilly temperatures today to raise money for kids with cancer.

The Planet Love Joy Group along with the Mount Union Fire Department held their first annual turkey bowl flag football tournament at Mount Union High School.

More than two dozen teams competed on 3 different fields in 30-min flag football matches to raise money for 4 local children diagnosed with cancer.

The goal of Planet Love Joy is to promote love and joy for those who have been diagnosed with cancer.  They plan to hold more events like the turkey bowl in the Spring.
