Warming Station For Sandy Storm Victims

ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - The Salvation Army Community Centre is now open to serve as a warming station for those in need.  Hot coffee and soup is available.  At this point they will be there until 6 p.m Tuesday.

If there appears to be a greater need to stay open longer they will do so and a future annoncement will be made to extend the hours.  For more information please call the City of Altoona Emergency Operation Center at 814- 949-2550.
