Huntingdon County Fair Queen Visits CPAL

The Huntingdon County Fair runs from August 5th through the 11th, and features livestock exhibits, live music, rides and a demolition derby.
Fair Schedule:
Sunday
8:00 AM - Judging Exhibits Starts.
9:00 AM - Judging of Youth Exhibits.
10:30 AM - Judging Fine Arts & Crafts.
1:00 PM - Judging Youth Beef Breeding Cattle in Large Arena.
2:00 PM - Big Band Sound at Midway Stage..
5:00 PM - Fair Queen Contest with Dan & Galla at Midway Stage.
6:30 PM - Official fair opening at Midway Stage, led by Dan & Galla.
7:30 PM - Vesper Services at the Midway Stage.
Monday
9:00 AM - Judging Draft Horses/Mules, Horses and Ponies at Halter in the Horse Show Ring. Judging of Grange. Exhibits in Owens Hall. Judging of Youth Dairy Cattle in Large Arena. Youth Beef/Dairy Beef Obstacle Contest.
7:00 PM - Demolition Derby in the Grandstand. Adm. $10 Adv. tickets available at the Main Office.
7:30 PM Force of Habit at the Midway Stage.
Tuesday
9:00 AM - Horse Show in the Horse Show Ring. Judging Youth Class Swine in the Small Arena. Judging Open Class Dairy Cattle in the Large Arena.
3:30 PM - Judging of Sheep and Lambs (var. classes) in the Large Arena.
6:00 PM - Antique Tractor Pull in the Grandstand.
6:00 PM - No Back Road at the Midway Stage.
7:30 and 9:00 PM Bluegrass Band at the Midway Stage.
Wednesday
8:00 - AM Youth Beef Showmanship & Fitting followed by the Market Steer Show in the Large Arena.
11:00-12:30 - Sr. Citizen Activities at Midway Stage, hosted by Dan & Galla.
1:30 PM - Farm Museum Best of Show Awards, Antique Parade.
1:30 PM - Youth Dairy Beef Show in the Large Arena.
3:30 PM - Second Wind at the Midway Stage.
5:00 PM - Horse Show Speed Events, Horse Show Ring.
7:00 PM - Talent Contest at the Midway Stage hosted by Dan & Galla.
7:00 PM - Mini Tractor Pulls in the Grandstand.
Thursday
9:00 AM - Judging Youth Tractor & Skidsteer Loader Driving.
11:00 AM - Premier Showmanship Contest in Memory of Cliff McElrath.
1:00 PM Youth Public Speaking & Demo Contest, Lge. Arena.
3:00 PM - Stockman's Contest in the Large Arena.
7:00 PM - Dairy Fun Night in the Large Arena.
