Romney Bus Tour Stops In Ebensburg

EBENSBURG, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- On Wednesday the Romney Bus Tour made a stop outside the Ebensburg Courthouse, taking aim at President Obama's "Anti-Business" stance.

Nearly two weeks ago on the campaign trial President Barrack Obama made the comment "If you've got a business... you didn't build it, somebody else made it happen."

Republicans said it's an insult to hard working Americans.

"Small businesses are the backbone of this economy, he doesn't understand that and it's why we are in a recession," said Republican Chairman Rob Gleason.

Democrats fire back saying the President helped create jobs during the recession because of giving businesses tax breaks.

"If you give them tax relief, because every business has to make a profit," said Edward Cernic Sr., Democratic Party, and State Transportation Commission.  "If you can't make a profit you can't stay in business."

"As a small business owner in Cambria County, I am puzzled by the Romney campaign's attacks on President Obama and their efforts to twist his words around," said small business owner and Chef Charles Heinrich - owner of Everyday Gourmet & Fine Food in Ebensburg.  "Because of a tax break from the federal government, the costs of my kitchen equipment have gradually decreased over time, allowing me to keep my cash flow in the black. Without that extra money, I may not have lasted this long."

"I remember signing all of my loans at the bank," said Tom McAneny, owner of McAneny Brothers Inc.  "I don't remember anyone from the government there behind me saying 'I've got your back,' I knew what I was signing and risked everything I owned to take a chance on expanding my company."
