Johnstown Man Shoots Person and Dog

CONEMAUGH TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY - Police arrest a Johnstown man after he got into an argument and shot someone in the foot and shot his own dog.

Police say around 2:20 Saturday afternoon Brian Scaife started fighting with his girlfriend and her brother. He shot the brother in the foot. Then for some unknown reason he shot his own dog.

It happened at a home in the 200 block of McCord Avenue, in Conemaugh Township, Cambria County.

Police took Scaife into custody and then got the dog to an emergency vet. The dog is in stable condition, the human shooting victim is fine.

Scaife now faces charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Reckless Endangerment, and Animal Cruelty.
