Aaron Cheslock

Aaron is a WTAJ Reporter based out of the central office in Altoona.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Aaron's proud to call Blair County his new home. Aaron graduated from the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland in 2009. He then began his broadcasting career as an Associate Sports Producer at WBAL in Baltimore until 2011. He then moved in front of the camera in April of 2011, taking a job as a General Assignment Reporter at WOAY-TV in Southern West Virginia. Within a month, he was promoted to Weekend Anchor, the fastest promotion to Anchor ever at WOAY. He joined WTAJ in June of 2012.
Aaron's covered many stories in his 3 years in broadcasting, from Ravens and NCAA tournament games, to Mayoral and Gubernatorial elections. It's all led him here to Central Pennsylvania, and he's ready to tell your stories.
An avid sports fan, Aaron still roots for his home town teams when he's not working. You can also find him playing baseball, basketball and football whenever he can, sports he played through high school. He's also no stranger to food (a 6 lb. burrito champion in Fayetteville WV), so if he's sitting down at your table, expect he'll be asking for a second helping.
