As a Commonwealth witness, O'Brien opposes what Dr. Atkins said earlier today as a Defense witness. O'Brien said that Sandusky tested negative for Histrionic Personality Disorder.
O'Brien said he met with Sandusky on Sunday for a couple hours and then reached his diagnosis. He said Sandusky is high-functioning and if Sandusky did indeed have the disorder, he would find it very hard to tolerate being an assistant coach or running the Second Mile.
Dr. O'Brien said the letters Sandusky wrote for Accuser #4 showed he was disappointed with the boy's decisions not to pursue education.
Judge Cleland said there is no change in the trial schedule.
