Amendola Testing State Police Credibility

The Court heard a police recording from April 21, 2011. The interview was between two State Police officers, Trooper Scott Rossman and Joseph Leiter, now retired, as well as Ben Andriozzi, the attorney for Accuser #4 and Accuser #4 himself.
A good portion of the played recording, which apparently was mistakenly recorded because there was a break in the interview and Accuser #4 stepped out of the room), shows that police told the accuser's attorney that officers had interviewed about nine accusers. Leiter said that it was "amazing" that all the accusers had the same or similar stories of abuse.
Judge Cleland said the issue is whether the "seeds were planted by the officer" about the tape. The purpose of the tape is to show that officers (incorrectly) said that they didn't talk to other alleged victims prior to meeting with Accuser #4.
Leiter told Andriozzi on the tape that in one case, a kid they interviewed had showered with Sandusky about 50 times and could have been sexually abused and had oral sex performed on him.
Trooper Leiter, now retired, admitted that earlier today he spoke to Rossman about his testimony. Rossman, on the stand, said that he hadn't talked to Leiter about his testimony.
Rominger asked, "So he (Rossman) lied?" Judge Cleland interrupted that "this is what the Jury will have to decide."
Also on the tape, the Officer, Trooper Leiter was showing Andriozzi other possible victims from Sandusky's book "Touched."
