Winter storm warnings are in effect for Blair, Cambria, Somerset, Bedford, Fulton, and Huntingdon Counties until 10 p.m. Wednesday evening. A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for Indiana County until 4 p.m. Wednesday. Juniata and Mifflin Counties to the east have a Winter Weather Advisory from 2 a.m. Wednesday to 2 a.m. Thursday. The heaviest snow will be during the overnight hours, and locations in Somerset and Bedford Counties could see accumulations in excess of one foot. This is a very complex system, with more snow in the southern part of the viewing area and locations to the north having the potential of seeing little precipitation. On our snow totals map available in the video, Elk and Cameron Counties are forecast to see between a trace and 2" of snow. This system is fast moving, and much of the snow will be over by the evening commute Wednesday.

Thursday will be a bit of a transition toward more sunshine with varying clouds and some leftover flurries. Warmer air will be moving in for the weekend, communities will see temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s. The next chance for rain showers will be Sunday night into Monday.
