Hundreds of Roman Catholics young and old came together at the Cathedral in Altoona as Pope Benedict's retirement became official. While adults are still learning just how this rare process works, they're also trying to explain it to children.
Students from a number of catholic schools played a big part in the Mass. They made cards and a video of them singing.
Gifts and prayers for the pope were on display during the mass and while some of them may be too young to fully understand the situation. They're happy to send the Pope off on positive note.
