US Postmaster Speaks Out

The US Post master General defended his plan to stop Saturday mail at a hearing before congress today. Patrick Donahoe told the committee the move was necessary to keep the postal service alive. He also talked about cutting back hours and creating their own health care program for employees. Saturday mail is set to end august 5th. Saturday package delivery and deliveries to post office boxes will continue.
