BROOKVILLE, JEFFERSON COUNTY - A Jefferson county plant is closing its doors.  Wednesday the Saint Mary's Carbon Company announced they are closing the Brookville plant in the next three months.

Some of the work will be moved to the Saint Mary's plant, and some will be shipped off to Mexico.  The company says they will try to relocate as many of the 22 workers as they can to the Saint Mary's plant.

The Brookville plant has been open for 25 years, and the owners say they're having a hard time competing in the global market.
