Updated Midday Monday, February 4, 2013
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

This afternoon clouds will increase and some light snow starts to move into southwestern parts of the region.  It will overspread much of the region late and overnight as a clipper moves through.  A light coating of snow with a trace to 2" could accumulate east of I-99 and near I-80.

The south and western ridges could see 2-4 inches with as much as 4-6 inches in the highest elevations of Cambria and Somerset counties.  Tomorrow we may have some leftover snow showers or flurries, mainly early.  It will be mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 20s to low 30s.

By tomorrow night, another clipper system moves our way to bring us some light snow.  Wednesday we will have early clouds breaking for some sun.  There may be a few scattered a.m. snow showers in spots.  Highs will be in the low to mid 30s.

Then on Thursday, highs will be in the upper 30s. There is a chance that a late week storm could develop along the coast, and bring us a mix or snow on Friday.  Check back here since this system is still highly questionable, and we will watch it closely as the week progresses.  Highs on Friday will be in the upper 30s.

We may see some sunshine and it will be a bit warmer for the weekend with highs in the low 40s.
