A disturbance will bring a bit of drizzle by early Friday morning. It's going to be a very close call with temperatures and some of the rain could freeze on a few surfaces when it first starts early Friday. Be careful driving before sunrise as a wet road and an icy road look the same and even a little freezing drizzle can make roads slippery. The good news is that temperatures will push above the freezing mark for the rest of Friday and we'll have just an on and off regular rainfall. The combination of the clouds, the rain and a southeasterly flow will keep areas near and east of I-99 with some spots not getting out of the 30s. Behind this disturbance, the flow will turn more westerly and that will set the stage to continue to rise to unseasonably levels Friday night into Saturday. With some sunshine and a southwesterly flow, temperatures will reach well into the 50s Saturday with a few spots flirting with 60. There's a slight chance for a shower Saturday and then we'll have a few showers around Saturday night into Sunday. It will remain warm on Sunday with highs in the 50s. A front will slowly sink into the region. This front will bring a good deal of clouds with the chance for showers on Monday. It will still be mild, but not as warm with highs in the 40s. The front will press far enough to the south to bring us a chilly rain on Tuesday that may mix with snowflakes. The front will clear the area on Wednesday leaving us with a chilly day with clouds, some sunshine and the chance for a couple of snow or rain showers. Even colder air will arrive later next week.
