POE VALLEY STATE PARK, CENTRE COUNTY  - A State Park office in Centre County was destroyed by fire on Monday.   The blaze in the wood frame structure in the Poe Valley State Park was discovered about 11:30 in the morning by a park worker.

By the time emergency crews could get on scene the building was a total loss.  Park officials say the three room building was closed and unoccupied at this time of year.    By the time the fire was extinguished there were only a few corners of the building left standing.

A State Fire Marshal has been called to the scene to try and determine the cause of the mid day fire.
