The letter is from Gary Gray, a Linebacker for Penn State in the late 1960's, And Jerry Sandusky's Grad Assistant in the mid-1970's. He's now a professor at PSU. He claims he met with Joe Paterno, in December, 2011 before he died in late January, 2012. John Riley, one of former Penn State President Graham Spanier's Attorneys, read portions of Gray's letter to the media at a press conference Wednesday morning.

"Coach said McQueary was sitting in the same kitchen chair where I was now seated, McQueary told Paterno much of what he had said he'd seen in the showers. Mike was fidgeting, stumbling, speaking softly as if he didn't know how to say the things he wanted to say."

Gray says in his letter to the Board of Trustees that Sandusky had fooled everybody, from Joe Paterno, to him. Gray says Paterno claimed to have no knowledge of sexual encounters other than the Mike McQueary incident, Where the former Assistant saw Sandusky in the shower with a boy.

"Joe said that McQueary had told him, that he had seen Jerry engaged in horseplay, or horsing around with a young boy..."

Gray also says he spoke to Dr. Jonathan Dranov, who spoke to McQueary just hours after the incident in the shower. He says that McQueary said he saw Sandusky in a shower at the Lasch Building.

"Dr Dranoff told me that he had asked mike mcqueary several times if he had seen anything sexual, each time mike mcqueary answered no"

Gray claims Paterno wasn't worried about himself amid the scandal, but the Assistant Coaches, Equipment Mangers, and other football personnel, like McQueary, who's fate would be in jeopordy after the scandal broke.

Gray wrote that after visiting with Coach Paterno, he got the impression that the coach was as stunned as anyone by the "revelations that have now become public knowledge."
