Jay Paterno Responds to Freeh Report

Joe Paterno's son, Jay, who coached with his father, said he spent most of the Thursday morning reading the Freeh report. Jay disputed Freeh's charge that his dad was part of a culture of concealment at Penn State.
In Jay's words, "one of the things i can tell you about Joe, wins and loses were among things mattered to him the least.. There were times he sat players out of game and even being on the coaching staff, we would say 'he's eligible he doesn't have any academic issues' and Joe would say 'it's important for us to understand that wins and losses are secondary.'
"Anyone who wants to characterize him as someone who would cover up something this heinous for his own reputation or for wins and losses just simply is mis-characterizing it. "
And Jay Paterno said his father did not interfere with the investigation into allegations against Jerry Sandusky and that his dad didn't suspect that Sandusky was a child predator.

This is about FOOTBALL or Penn State, this is about the poor kids that had to go through all this because Of Paterno and other two idots that let Sandusky get away with this sick act. The FBI found out that Joe knew and Penn state meant more to him then protecting these kids. Your as sick as he and the all the rest of them that tried to cover this up.
