HARRISBURG, DAUPHIN COUNTY - The State Superior Court denied Jerry Sandusky's motion Friday for a higher court to review his child sex abuse case.

Defense attorneys asked the higher court Thursday to examine the case. Details aren't available on what was exactly in the petition. The defense has been asking for the trial start date to be pushed back.

At a hearing Wednesday, the judge presiding over the case ordered that jury selection will still begin as scheduled on Tuesday, June 5.

Sandusky's trial is set for the following Monday.
