Any interest in electric powered vehicles?
We are currently building an EV (electric vehicle).
The donor car is a 1991 Honda Prelude.
We are powering it with a 9" electric motor from EV America.
Using 24- 6 volt Trojan lead acid batteries equaling 144 volts to the motor.
Drive range will be approx. 70 miles
top speed approx. 75 mph.
We are about half way on the project.
Wish us luck

Here we are approx 5 months later and we finally was able to back the 91 Honda Prelude electric vehicle out of the garage and take it for its 1st maiden voyage,It was a short trip but seemed to give us great results,we are waiting for the last 4 6volt batteries to arive to give us maximum voltage at 144 volts. We were very impressed to be able to spin the tires on concrete,Stll about a months worth of work then we send it to the body shop fpr the paint job,There are some pics of the build on you tube.Under 91 honda prelude ev,We wil try to keep the updates coming.

We currently have the EV registered and insured to get it on the road legally,we have been driving it short 5 mile distances to break in the 24-6 volt batteries, all is well accept from the road noise its a quiet gas free ride.
Any interest or questions please feel free to email me.
