PA CareerLink of Blair County Celebration

The PA CareerLink of Blair County held an End of Summer Celebration on Aug. 3 at their Altoona office.
 
It marked the completion of the 2012 Workforce Investment Act Summer Youth Employment Program.

Fifteen area teens, ages 15 to 19, spent up to seven weeks working at local businesses and organizations.

In addition to earning an hourly wage, they also received hands-on experience, job readiness skills and learned good work habits.
