Mrs. Crawford's and Mrs. Bowser's 2nd Grade classes at Altoona Central Catholic School welcomed local artist and author Cory Geishauser to share his new book, "The Mascot with the Ascot."
He treated the class to a fun reading of his book, showed them how he drew his main character, Bryce, and talked with them about cartoon drawing and creative writing.
Cory was the former Altoona Curve mascot, Steamer, for 10 seasons.
The students had a wonderful time trying on some mascot gear, asking him questions, and listening to his hilarious stories.
