St. Marys Catholic Read Across America

St. Marys Catholic Elementary School in Elk County.

Kindergarten through 5th Graders and their teachers recently observed Read Across America Day.
 
Their celebration included a special storytelling session via teleconference with Msgr. Robert J. Smith, J.C.L., Vicar General of the Diocese of Erie.

He read a story about a boy's mess and the love between a father and son and how it parallels God's love for us. The story was followed by a question and answer session with Msgr. Smith.

Students also took part in the "Read the Most from Coast to Coast" Accelerated Reader contest.
 
Their principal is Mrs. Mary Beth Schaut.
