After an 0 and 6 start to the new season on the road, the Altoona Curve returned to Blair County Ballpark for the team's home opener Thursday Night only to suffer another loss to Erie by the final of 3-0. The Curve didn't even manage a single hit until two outs in the bottom of the ninth when Jamie Romak doubled to left field. Curve starting pitcher Brad Lincoln had a solid outing giving up just one run in five innings of work. Altoona is the only team in Double-A in the country without a victory in the new season.
