Pennsylvania to Offer Free Nicotine Replacement Therapy

The State is offering help to anyone wishing to quit smoking. On February 2nd the Pennsylvania Department of Health will begin offering Free Nicotine Replacement Therapy. Applicants can receive Free 30-Day Starter Kits containing nicotine patches. Monday begins “Determined to Quit” Week, January 25 – 31, 2009 encouraging smokers to quit smoking.

To request your free Quit Kit call the Quitline 1-800-QUIT NOW (1-800-784-8669). For more information on this program check out the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s website.
