EBENSBURG, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Social media is helping to put more fugitives behind bars in Cambria County.

That increase has a lot to do with Facebook.  County sheriffs have created their own page, posting their most wanted.  Many suspects are being caught in a shorter time frame or are turning themselves in, and in some cases sheriff's said they are being caught several at a time at one location.

Deputy Sheriff Tracy Swope is the one behind the posts and was recognized Thursday for her hard work and dedication in taking on the internet project.

"Tracy has figured out how to help society," said Commissioner Doug Lengenfelder.
