JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY - A suspect in last weekend's home invasion and shooting turned himself into police Wednesday while another remains on the loose.

Charles Meyers turned himself into police while they continue searching for Jason Maines. Both are charged with robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, and several related offenses.

The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Highland Avenue in the Moxham section of Johnstown.

The incident stemmed from an apparent mix-up. City police say the homeowners received a package in the mail the day before containing drugs.

Meyers and Maines were apparently two of the people waiting for the delivery. They allegedly confronted the homeowner who was shot in the knee. Another suspect was shot in the head.

Police will release more information in a press conference Wednesday afternoon.
