Two Fatal Crashes

STOYSTOWN, SOMERSET COUNTY--- State Police are on scene of two separate fatal crashes about a mile apart from one another.

Route 281 in Somerset County is closed from the intersection of Brownstown Hill Road to the intersection of Pompey Hill Road; both in Quemahoning Township are closed because of a crash that occurred Friday morning.

A second crash occurred shortly after the first on Pompey Hill Road. This roadway is closed form the intersection of Cemetery and Lambertville Road in Stonycreek Township to the intersection of Stoystown Road.

Drivers are advised to use an alternate route. Both roads are expected to remain closed until Friday afternoon. 

Somerset County Coroner is on scene.
