BELLEFONTE, CENTRE COUNTY - Some same-sex couples applied for marriage licenses they knew they wouldn't get.

Members of the group Justice League - Activate! have been doing this in Bellefonte, Centre County every Valentine's Day since 2010.

Their applications are denied since gay marriage is not legal in Pennsylvania.

They say the 14th Amendment allows people to be wed regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation.

The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear a marriage equality case on March 26th.
