BELLEFONTE, CENTRE COUNTY - Coming into the hearing on Thursday, everyone was waiting to see what Sandusky's defense team came up with to convince Judge Cleland that he deserves a new trial.

Sandusky's former Defense Attorney Joe Amendola said on the stand that his defense team didn't have enough time to present a fair trial. In the past, he's used a sick paralegal and a broken copier as excuses. Tom Kline represents victim #5. He says while prosecutors questioned Amendola on the stand, he simply cracked.

"...The most interesting part of the testimony today by far was Mr. Amendola candidly admitting that after he had an opportunity to review the documents that nothing would have changed the material presentation of this trial on behalf of Mr. Sandusky. That put to rest any argument that
there was any kind of prejudice at all in the trial."

Kline's been negotiating with Penn State on a settlement for his client.
