ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - If you think you've got what it takes to protect your community, a couple of major police departments in our area are looking for some new officers.
The Altoona Police Department is accepting applications for officers. Notarized applications need to be in to city hall before the end of January. There is a 25 dollar processing fee to apply.
Johnstown police are also looking to hire. You can apply there starting Monday until the 18th at the city hall in Johnstown. That application requires a 30 dollar testing fee.
