Richland Home Invasion Investigation

RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Richland Township Police are searching for two black men who shot a 38-year old Thursday night.

It happened in the 1200 block of Lydia Street, Police Chief Michael Burgan said the victim may have been shot around 6:30 but 9-11 was not called till after eight when a female who lived there came home.

"Initially the call came in as an unconscious person," said Burgan.  "It was later upgraded to a shooting."

Police have not released a motive, or the victim's name.

"If the public has any information we're asking them to give us a call," said Burgan.  "We believe this was not a random shooting and the victim was targeted but the public should not be alarmed."
