ALTOONA - Drivers in the region saw gas prices at the pump jump a dime since last week.

AAA's latest report shows the average for a gallon of unleaded in Western Pa. is now $3.50.

That's about 20 cents higher than the national average.

According to gasbuddy.com, gas prices in much of our area were $3.59 a gallon on Thursday.

In DuBois, it was roughly 10 cents cheaper.

Brookville, Jefferson County had reports of as low as $3.35 a gallon.

AAA is predicting the national average will be less this year than last.

That's because Sheetz has run most of the competition out of Central Pennsylvania. People should buy their gas ANYWHERE BUT SHEETZ. The more gas they have in the ground, the cheaper the prices will be. Try it and see.
