Updated: Thursday Evening, December, 27h
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

The storm system that brought us all of the snow pulled off to the east, and in it's wake we had strong, gusty winds today with leftover flurries and snow showers. The wind will start to diminish tonight and there will still only be a few leftover flurries and snow showers early tonight. It will remain mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the lower to middle 20s. Clouds may linger for a time early Friday but there should be at least partial sunshine in the afternoon. It will still be chilly with highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s. The next system will pass by just south of the area Saturday and will bring with it occasional snow. This will not be as strong as the last system but it should be enough to bring a widespread light to perhaps moderate accumulation across the region. Behind the system Sunday will be windy and cold with leftover snow showers and highs in the upper 20s. Monday will start off with partial sunshine but then another weak system will bring clouds along with another period of light snow later Monday into Tuesday. Highs each day will be pretty close to 30. We'll have another break on Wednesday followed by an arctic front and snow showers on Thursday.
