MARTINSBURG, BLAIR COUNTY - Only three days after she was gunned down decorating a church near Geeseytown, Kim Scott was buried this afternoon.

Everyone we've talked to since the shootings, have said that they knew this would be a tough Christmas. Local religious leaders are calling for a time of remembrance, and with Kimberly Scott's funeral on Monday, they hoped to start the healing process.

Scott's funeral was at the Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church in Martinsburg. Her viewing, at the same church, brought out hundreds to pay their respects on Sunday. Police say Scott was gunned down by Jeffrey Michael at the Juniata Valley Gospel Church on Friday while she was decorating
for a Christmas party. The church opened again for services on Sunday, but cancelled the Christmas party Scott was decorating for. Kimberly Scott was 58-years-old and from Duncansville. She leaves behind her husband Ed, a son, and three grandchildren. Elvina Fetters is a neighbor of
Juniata Valley Gospel Church, and says she died doing God's work.

"....to know that one of their own died at the church, working for the church, gave her life for that church really, because it could have been anybody but it was her. And she was doing God's work for that church."

The two other men killed during Michael's rampage were 60 year old Kenneth Lynn and his son in law 38 year old William Rhodes Jr. Their viewings will be from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 on Thursday, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Williamsburg.

Their funerals will both be held at Zion Lutheran on Friday, at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers the families are requesting Memorial contributions. If you'd like more information on how to donate or contribute, please see below:
