EBENSBURG, CAMBRIA COUNTY - The Cambria County Commissioners on Friday gave their approval to $150 million dollar spending plan for the coming year.

But not everyone at the Commissioner's meeting at the Cambria County Courthouse meeting was pleased with the results.  County officials say they have been dealing with some very difficult financial conditions and doing what they could to eliminate the red ink in the current year's budget.

While the new budget calls for holding the line on property taxes, not everyone was pleased with the spending plan.  Controller Ed Cernic went on to criticize some program adjustments and cuts in the spending plan including the closing of one senior center.

Still for supporters of the budget believe this spending plan is the best they could put together in considering the County's current financial resources.
