Cuddles For Kids answered to the challenge to collect enough toys to send to the community of Newtown. WTAJ News and Kaza Fire Equipment in Ebensburg helped with spreading the word. Viewers and community members sent an overwhelming amount of gifts. Over 600 were packaged Wednesday, one toy for every student at Sandy Hook Elementary.
Kaza Fire Equipment paid over $200 for the toys to be shipped through UPS. They are expected to arrive Thursday or Friday.
On behalf of WTAJ News, Cuddles For Kids and Kaza Fire Equipment thank you for the generous donation.
Cuddles For Kids will deliver toys to children in the hospital Friday.
