Accused Rapist Turns Himself In

WINDBER, SOMERSET COUNTY - A Somerset County man, accused of raping a young girl has turned himself in.

George Irvin of Windber reportedly abused the victim for a seven year period, starting when the girl was just eight years old.

Johnstown police detectives say the abuse allegedly took place in Johnstown and Dale Borough.

The 39 year old turned himself into police on Wednesday, he was arraigned and in the Cambria County jail on $200,000.
